Summer Update:

Well, now that school's out and you're thinking of family outings or things for the kids to do be sure to check out what's happening at church!

**Camp E.D.G.E.: at camp edge children k-5th grade will experience and discover God everywhere. Camp E.D.G.E. will take place on the second Thursday of the month in June, July, and August-for more information click here.

**Summer Camp: North Florida Christian Service Camp has a week for everyone this summer. Be sure to check the camp schedule and remember that scholarships are available.

**Youth Events: every Tuesday the youth will get together for fun fellowship. Calendars are available at the Welcome table on Sunday mornings or can be picked up at the Ministry Center throughout the week.

**Current: our Sunday night service kicked off in May and takes place on the third Sunday of the month. Current meets in the Barn at the Ministry Center at 7:00PM. Light refreshments are available and the service focuses on worship and prayer. The next Current is Sunday, June 21st.

**His Hands Puppet Team: practices on Wednesday nights and has a very busy summer schedule. If you would like to support the team or sponsor a team member see Becky Ling.

Happy Easter from our family to yours! We hope that you were able to join us for our 33rd annual Sunrise Service. It was a beautiful morning! We pray a special blessing on you and your family as you take time to reflect on this life-giving time of year!!

I would just like to take some time to update the blog and thank all of the volunteers who came out for work day on Saturday. We had an amazing turn out and were able to get a lot of work done: I personally think that the property looks the best it has since we've been out here!! Thanks for all of your hard work!!

In other updates don't forget to join us for Spring Fest this Saturday, April 4th from 10:00AM-1:00PM it's sure to be a great time so invite your friends and family!! Remember the event is free but lunch may be purchased from Chick-fil-a. As the Spring Fest approaches we are also busy planning and preparing for our 33rd annual Easter Sunrise Service. As in years past this service takes place in New Smyrna Beach at the 27th Avenue Park. Remember that parking fills up early. Service starts at 6;30AM with light refreshments before.

There are two ways of spreading light --

to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.

"Your are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Life Groups: Life Groups are small group Bible studies that meet throughout the week and throughout the community. There is something for everyone! SpringFest 2009: Crossroads will be hosting their first ever SpringFest and you and your family are invited to attend. Join us Saturday, April 4th from 10:00AM-1:00Pm. His Hands puppets will be performing, we'll have face painting, petting zoo, and a bounce slide! Lunch will be available from Chick-fil-a and z88.3 will be on site!!! The event will end with an Easter egg hunt!!!

If you'd like to volunteer join us this Thursday, March 5th at the Ministry Center for an informative meeting. The meeting will start at 6:30PM. If you can't attend see Lindsey for more details.

We're also collecting plastic eggs and candy: if you would like to donate you can do so any day at the Ministry Center or on Sunday mornings.

Fellowship Dinner & Bible Study: Every Wednesday night you are invited to join us for dinner: we start at 6:00PM. After dinner we offer adult Bible study, children's Bible study, and His Hands puppet practice.
